Day-by-day itinerary
Morning pick-up and drive to Tsavo East. Game drive en route to your lodge, looking for elephant, lion, zebra and lesser kudu. Afternoon game drive around the Aruba Dam.
Cross into Tsavo West, a land of lava flows and rugged hills. Visit Mzima Springs, where an underwater viewing chamber lets you watch hippos and crocodiles in crystal-clear water, and walk the Shetani lava flow.
Drive to Amboseli via the Chyulu foothills. Afternoon game drive through the swamps where elephants bathe and feed, with Mount Kilimanjaro as your backdrop.
Early-morning game drive for the best Kilimanjaro views, breakfast at the lodge, then return to Mombasa or Diani in the afternoon.
