This compact coast safari packs in two of Kenya’s most rewarding parks. Start among the famous red elephants of Tsavo East, then cross to Amboseli where huge herds roam beneath the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Ideal if you are staying in Mombasa or Diani and want a true wildlife adventure without a long trip.

Day-by-day itinerary
Early pick-up from your hotel and drive to Tsavo East, entering through Buchuma Gate. Game drive past the Aruba Dam and Galana River, home to lion, buffalo, giraffe and big herds of red elephants. Lunch at the lodge and an evening game drive.
After breakfast, drive west across the plains to Amboseli National Park. Afternoon game drive through the swamps where elephants, hippos and flamingos gather, with Mount Kilimanjaro towering above. Climb Observation Hill for sweeping views.
Rise early for the clearest views of Kilimanjaro and a final game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then drive back to Mombasa or Diani, arriving in the late afternoon.
